Thai Herkules develops new loaders

Thai manufacturer Herkules Cranes is currently testing its latest 5-ton mobile loader, the W5000. This model offers a lifting capacity of 500 kg at a 9-meter radius and 1,750 kg at a 2.8-meter radius. Weighing just 650 kg, the W5000 builds on the success of the recently launched 9-ton model, incorporating advanced engineering and improved performance features. In addition to developing new machinery, Herkules has expanded its operations by partnering with two Malaysian companies to establish MSH Herkules SDN.BHD in southern Malaysia. The joint venture is set to begin production in early 2006 and will focus on manufacturing a range of crane models tailored for regional markets. These cranes are expected to be distributed across Malaysia, Indonesia, Abu Dhabi, and neighboring countries. To support this expansion, the company plans to open an office in Abu Dhabi, further strengthening its presence in the Middle East.

Tungsten Alloy Blank

A tungsten alloy blank is a piece of material made from a mixture of tungsten and other metals, such as nickel, iron, or copper. Tungsten alloys are known for their high density, strength, and resistance to corrosion and wear. These blanks can be used to create a variety of products, including bullets, weights for fishing or hunting, radiation shields, and aerospace components. The blanks are typically produced through a process of powder metallurgy, where the tungsten and other metals are mixed together, pressed into a mold, and then sintered at high temperatures to create a solid piece of material.
