Goodyear Tire, a global leader in tire technology, has recently been named among the "Top 100 Best Corporate Citizens" by *Corporate Responsibility Officer* (CRO) Magazine. Ranking 72nd globally, Goodyear became the only tire company to receive this prestigious recognition. This award highlights the company's ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and ethical business practices.
The "Top 100 Best Corporate Citizens" list, which has been published since 2000, evaluates companies based on eight key areas: climate change, employee relations, environmental sustainability, financial performance, management practices, human rights, public welfare, and charitable efforts. Through these comprehensive criteria, CRO identifies the most socially responsible corporations worldwide.
This latest honor is not the first time Goodyear has been recognized for its dedication to being a responsible corporate citizen. In 2007, a global survey conducted by TNS, a leading automotive research firm, named Goodyear "the most trusted company in the world" in North America and Asia. The recognition was due to its strong focus on product safety and road safety initiatives. Over 18,000 consumers from major automotive markets participated in the survey.
In addition to its global reputation, Goodyear has also taken specific steps to support women drivers. It launched the “Beauty Security Campaign†to promote safe driving for female users and has shared inspiring stories through its "Highway Heroes" campaign across North America and Asia. In China, Goodyear has been honored as one of the "Top 20 Corporate Social Responsibility Companies" by *Southern Weekend*.
