Production of non-clinker white cement from kaolin (rock)
China has a large number of coal-based kaolin (rock), can produce a variety of products. Jiaozuo Institute of Technology will grind it to 325 mesh, and calcine it at 650 ~ 850 °C for 6h to become active metakaolin, then 40 to 65 % of metakaolin, 20 to 30 % of calcined gypsum . 20 to 30 % of lime, and then adding 0.3 % of the water-reducing admixture, the white cement without clinker is obtained. This non-clinker white cement can withstand compressive strength up to 52.2MPa and can be used to produce non-clinker white cement products, dry powder architectural coatings, burn-free, steam-free cement-free fly ash bricks and blocks.
