Comparison between shaft development and inclined shaft development

(1) In terms of infrastructure, in order to develop the same depth, the inclined shaft is much longer than the shaft, but when the inclined shaft is developed, the general inclination angle is smaller than the final movement angle of the ore body, so the length of the stone door of the inclined shaft is much shorter. Especially when the ore body is gently inclined, the above two points are more prominent. The bottom hole yard developed by the inclined shaft is simpler than the one developed by the shaft (the amount of engineering is small and the auxiliary facilities are small).

(2) In terms of lifting, the shaft has a fast lifting speed, a large lifting capacity and a low lifting cost. Inclined wells do not have this advantage, and at the same time increase the wear of the steel rope.

(3) In terms of ground pressure and engineering support, the ground pressure to which the inclined shaft is subjected is large, especially in the case where the rock is not stable enough, the service life is long, or the mine is deep, and the shaft is often used for ground pressure problems. The vertical shaft section is usually round. In terms of roadway management and ground pressure management, the shaft has greater advantages.

(4) In terms of construction, the shaft is easier to mechanize than the inclined shaft, but there are many construction equipment and auxiliary equipment, the working conditions are poor, and the technical requirements are relatively high. Inclined shaft construction is relatively simple, requiring less equipment and equipment. Generally speaking, the inclined shaft is faster than the shaft.

(5) From the perspective of wellbore equipment, the inclined well is simpler and the cost is lower.

(6) In terms of safety, there are fewer accidents in the shaft lifting process, and there are more accidents in the inclined shaft. For example, the mine car is easy to cause a sports accident due to derailment and decoupling. Although the inclined shaft has a safe humanity, once a sports car is hit, accidents such as collisions are often inevitable.

Due to the shortcomings of the inclined shaft in terms of safety, lifting capacity and mechanization level, it is possible to use the development plan of the inclined shaft, and therefore to abandon the inclined shaft and use the shaft.
