Zhenhua Heavy Industry won the bid for 4 bulk cargo handling equipment in Wenzhou Port
Recently, Zhenhua Heavy Industry and Wenzhou Port Group signed a contract for the supply of bulk cargo equipment. Zhenhua Heavy Industry provided four bulk cargo handling equipments to the first phase of Wenzhou Port Yueqing Bay Port Area Project, including two bridge-type grab ship unloaders and two cantilever bucket wheel stackers and reclaimers. The total contract value was RMB 128 million. The equipment will be delivered to users by the end of August 2014.
Wenzhou Port Yueqing Bay Port Area Phase I Project is a key project of Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in the northeast of Yueqing City. It has two 50,000-ton multi-purpose berths and rear land supporting facilities. The coastline is 676 meters long. With a throughput of 3.8 million tons, it is engaged in the loading and unloading of coal, ore, containers and groceries.
The commissioning of this batch of bulk equipment will help accelerate the optimization and adjustment of the structural functions of Wenzhou Port's various port areas, and further improve the throughput and specialization level of Wenzhou Port.
