ZF and Beiben Heavy Truck Cooperate to Produce Complete Rear Axle Suspension System
Recently, at the International Automobile Exhibition Commercial Vehicle Show held in Hannover, China's major heavy truck manufacturer Bei Ben Heavy Truck and ZF Corporation signed a letter of intent for future cooperation. Both parties plan to establish a joint venture company in Baotou to produce a complete rear axle suspension system for heavy trucks.
Hubert Groß, Senior Vice President of Chassis Module Commercial Vehicles, ZF Renford Co., Ltd. and Wang Shihong, General Manager of Bei Ben Heavy Truck Co., Ltd. signed the agreement on behalf of the two parties respectively. According to the agreement, in the next two years, Beiben Heavy Trucks will introduce a new generation of heavy trucks into the Chinese market, and ZF will prepare a complete rear axle suspension system in China to meet the needs of the Chinese market. Therefore, ZF will further expand its product business by introducing a complete spectrum of truck rear axle suspension systems; the heavy trucks produced by Beiben Heavy Trucks will also be equipped with a set of ZF-compliant European quality standards.
