At present, whether it is the trend of the city to become more mature and modern, or the economic crisis, the country’s stimulating investment in infrastructure construction shows that booming machinery is booming. From control to transmission, the depth of application of automation products in this industry is also accumulating. From the perspective of the existing scale, the future growth space and the current growth rate, the lifting machinery industry has gradually become an important market for automation companies.

According to statistics, in recent years, the lifting equipment manufacturing industry has maintained an average annual growth rate of more than 30%. Even after the financial crisis hit in 2008, it recovered rapidly in 2009. At the same time, the rapid development of the lifting machinery industry has also greatly promoted the application of automation products in this industry. Although the overall level of automation applications in China's lifting machinery industry is still not high, both hoisting machinery manufacturers and lifting machinery users have gradually realized the advantages of application automation products. Luo Wenlong, director of the Technical Center of the Building Construction Mechanization Research Branch of the Chinese Academy of Building Research, said that the potential of automated products in the lifting machinery industry is very large and the prospects are very broad. Therefore, the development of the domestic lifting machinery automation market will also be “on the road”.

First of all, technical standards cannot be used to limit the design of crane products and the application of automation products. Foreign companies design diversified products according to customer needs, adapt to market demands, and be flexible. However, many domestic regulations are too specific, making the product type too single. Secondly, there is a relative lack of domestic application technicians. For companies that require higher technical requirements such as electronic control systems for lifting appliances, companies need to complete training. Therefore, the market training in the early stage needs to be further strengthened. Finally, the price of domestic cranes is relatively low, but they cannot reduce the proportion of applications of automation products to control costs. This method is often not worth the candle.
