The 114 households in the community have now achieved the integrated collection of meter and meter information and have access to gas meters. In the next step, we will strive to achieve 20,000 “four-in-one” user coverage in Puyang City by the end of 2016.

The “four-in-one” pilot project in Shandong Province is Jining Golden Lanting Community. Residents of the community will all achieve integrated collection of electricity, water, gas, and heat. With a single card, they will be able to pay for water, electricity, gas, and heating.

Shanxi Province has also compiled and completed the 2015 “Four-Shelf Unity Work Program” and will conduct trials in the Guangming Community of Luzhou City to achieve an integrated collection of electricity, gas, and heat, and further explore the application of new technology solutions and data sharing. The interactive new model will further comprehensively promote the integration of public utility data collection, carry out analysis of customer energy big data, recommend smart energy use, and create a new type of user energy service model.

Although the “four-in-one” action is in full swing throughout the country, it must not be forgotten that many deficiencies still exist. For example, there is no unified data frame identification standard for the four tables in China, and the gas, water, heating, and power systems each form a system. The interconnection and interoperability of various manufacturers does not exist. This restricts the desire for multiple application integration for customers using four tables/integration, resulting in the same unit, as long as four tables are copied, one has to select the same supplier, and if this supplier is a strong point in one aspect And, on the other hand, it is a weak position. Then there is no doubt that it is absolutely unwilling to see the demand side. Therefore, the standard agreement for interconnection needs to be unified at a higher level. However, currently four units belong to different upper levels, some are strong sectors such as electricity, and some are weak sectors such as gas and water; coordination work is difficult to carry out. The situation of one country’s products and multiple agreements cannot be seen yet. Therefore, the realization of the “Four Lists Unity” also needs more coordination on the management level to truly realize benefits for the people.
