Shangyu introduces large grain dryer
The Shangyu City Dragon Food Production Cooperative invested more than 220,000 yuan and introduced the city’s first 60-ton large grain dryer.
The drying machine has a daily grain drying capacity of 60 tons and consumes 3 tons of crop stalks per day (24 hours). The direct cost for each grain of grain drying is 0.02-0.035 yuan, and it is expected to reduce the loss of about 100,000 yuan per year for the cooperative.
According to reports, this machine is produced in Shenyang and can use crop stalks and grain bran as fuel. Every year, Shangyu City produces a large amount of crop stalks, and most of the crops are directly burned except for some of them. The introduction of the dryer, which saves the cost of grain drying, also turns the crop stalks into waste.
