Fubon Canvas Knight Receives Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update
Fubon is said to have started to launch Android 4.4.2 Kitkat's FOTA solution, updated the old model of the Canvas Knight A350, and launched Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean in March. Later in June, the company relaunched the Android 4.4.2 KitKat smartphone, which is ready-to-run and does not need to upgrade equipment shipped before that date. According to an Indian blog Droidguru's Android 4.4.2 KitKat update, now available in Canvas Knight A350, about 388MB in size. Users can also check manually.
Updated in the release of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update display, "Music Album Art will now lock the screen to show screenshots of playing music," in addition to peddling an improved user interface. The report also pointed out that due to incompatible applications and its large-size risks, such as "My Perry Where, Toy Story and Kingsoft Office" will be deleted after the upgrade.
The Canvas Knight A350, launched at Rs 1,999, offers dual SIM (micro-SIM) support and comes with a 5-inch (1080x1920 pixels) full HD IPS display, 443ppi pixel density. Eight-core MediaTek (MT6592T) processor with a smart phone cassette, clocked at 2GHz, plus 2GB of memory. It comes with built-in storage and is non-expandable at 32GB. Canvas Knight Sports has a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera with OmniVision's CameraChip sensor and M8 Polaroid lens, as well as an auxiliary 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
In terms of connectivity, Canvas Knights include 3G, WiFi, Micro USB and Bluetooth. The smartphone is equipped with a 2350 mAh battery and is rated for up to 7.5 hours of talk time and up to 175 hours of standby time. It has three color options: black, black gold, and white gold.
