Evonik Expands PEEK Capacity in China
Evonik Industries AG is currently modernizing its existing plant in Changchun, Jilin to expand its PEEK capacity.
Evonik, headquartered in Essen, Germany, said the expansion project is underway and is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of this year.
The company did not announce specific expansion figures. Sanjeev Taneja, Global Business Manager for Vestakeep Resins at Evonik, said that due to the successful commercialization of several new projects, it is imperative to increase production capacity.
