Domestic "zero emission" pure electric vehicles do not fly

At the end of last year, he went to Sweden to interview new energy vehicles. When it comes to the sale of pure electric vehicles, the owner told me that before each manufacturer sells a pure electric vehicle, the manufacturer requires the user to sign an agreement to ensure that the source of his charge must be a “clean” electric power supplier. If the user fails to do this, the car company would rather lose this single business.

What is "clean" electricity is very clear in Europe, that is, the use of wind, tides, water conservancy, solar energy, and renewable energy. Coal uses electricity to generate large amounts of harmful substances that are emitted during combustion and is referred to as “dirty” electricity in Europe. Compared with the “clean” level of wind power, tides, and solar power generation, it is truly a heaven and an underground.

In Sweden, as a kind of “secondary energy source”, what proportion of the “clean” power supply is in the geometry? I was told that hydroelectric power accounts for 50%, wind power and other bioenergy power generation account for 45%, and coal power only 5%. Where pure electric vehicles are used there is a great chance that “clean” electricity can be used to truly “zero emissions”.

In China, according to statistics from the State Grid, in 2010, 82% of the electricity came from coal, and it was a low-grade coal with high sulfur content and high ash content. China is today regarded as a global leader in carbon emissions, and the contribution of coal is among the highest. The future situation is also not optimistic. By 2020, electricity generation from coal will still account for 71% of the electricity supply. As for hydropower, wind power, solar energy, and still controversial nuclear power, the proportion is still less than 30%.

The data shows that the use of advanced technologies for fuel engine emissions has been cleaner than coal-fired electricity. Taking domestic 1.4 TSI golf as an example, during the entire cycle of energy consumption from oil wells to wheels, the CO2 emission is 143 grams per kilometer, and the diesel engine is equipped with 111 grams of emissions. The electric power required by electric vehicles with the same power is used to generate electricity from domestic coal. The carbon dioxide produced during the process is equivalent to 171 grams per 100 kilometers. There is no calculation of the energy consumption and emissions of fuel used to transport coal from the place of production to the coastal power plant.

A simple and simple fact: In China, where coal power accounts for an absolute share, the purely electric vehicles that may have been able to achieve zero emissions have completely lost the significance of energy conservation and emission reduction. Not to mention, the high risk of batteries and their safety after production and disposal have not been counted. The “zero emission” advocates the development of electric vehicles in China, but it is the “new clothes of the emperor” that discharge pollution.
