Chinese Academy of Sciences: Water can rub nano-generator ocean power into reality

Wang Zhonglin team using friction and electrification at the solid-liquid interface developed "water can rub the nano-generator" can be used for river, raindrops, wave kinetic energy collection. Through the combination of four basic modes of friction nano-generator, the generator can efficiently recover the kinetic energy resources in the ocean, including the up-down fluctuation of water, the waves of waves, currents and the tapping of seawater. Previously it was generally considered that triboelectric charging was only possible under dry conditions; this technique also enabled the simultaneous collection of water droplets and wave kinetic energy.
