Algonquin-Lake in the Hills is added to the site

The Algonquin-Lake In The Hills Fire Protection District serves both MABAS Division 2 and Division 5, covering a wide area with its three stations. Their headquarters is located in Lake In The Hills on Algonquin Road, and they recently expanded their fleet with two new units from Ferrara. One is an MVP pumper mounted on the Igniter chassis, while the other is a rear-mount tower ladder on the Inferno chassis. In addition to these, they have two brand-new ambulances from Medtec, built on Freightliner M2106 Business Class chassis. The remaining two frontline engines are twin KME Predator rescue pumpers, known for their reliability and performance. Although not all images are posted yet, several have been added to give a glimpse of the department’s current equipment. The first image shows the new Ferrara MVP pumper, which is already making an impact on emergency response. Another photo highlights one of the Medtec ambulances, which was one of the two recent purchases and has been in service for a bit longer than its counterpart. Additional photos will follow soon, offering more details about the district’s growing and modernizing fleet.
