Bus fire in Northbrook
Last night, Tim Olk was driving when he caught a glimpse of a smoke plume rising in the distance. Curious, he followed it and discovered a PACE transit bus engulfed in flames at the Metra station on Lake-Cook Road in Northbrook. Upon arrival, Northbrook Engine 10 quickly responded to the scene, and Tim captured the moment the fire department began tackling the blaze.

Emergency crews worked swiftly to contain the situation, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation. It's always fascinating to witness first-hand how quickly local firefighters respond to such incidents.
