The light detection system of the 1011M photoelectric sorting machine is mainly composed of a combination of a light source, a convex lens and a slit, a lens power supply, a preamplifier, and a background. (II) Magnetic-optical sorting machine The CGX-1 magnetic-optical sorting machine developed in China is characterized by the use of magnetic and optical probes to realize the joint sorting of magnetic-optical light on the same equipment. This machine is mainly used for the sorting of black tungsten ore. It uses the photoelectric principle to recover white quartz vein containing black tungsten, and it can recover black monolithic tungsten by magnetism.
The magneto-optical sorter consists of four systems: feeding, detecting, controlling and separating. The schematic diagram of the magneto-optical sorter is shown in Figure 10.

The ore supply system consists of a mining bucket, an electromagnetic vibrating feeder, a curved guide groove and a fast V-belt. The function of the system is mainly to ensure uniform feeding, so that the nuggets pass through the detection and separation system one by one. The electromagnetic vibrating feeder continuously and evenly feeds the ore in the mine bucket into the arc-shaped guide groove, so that the ore block obtains a speed close to the V-shaped belt, thereby stabilizing quickly. The V-belt consisting of two belts has an angle of 90 degrees. The spacing of the nuggets is enlarged by a V-belt into a single row and then passed through the detection zone block by block.
The detection system mainly has two parts: a magnetic probe and an optical probe.
A magnetic probe consisting of a Hall element, a magnetic source and a yoke is mounted under the V-belt near the tapping end. The magnetic source is strontium ferrite permanent magnets, the yoke machined from pure iron. When the nugget passes through the magnetic probe, since the tungsten is weakly magnetic, it is magnetized to change the magnetic field distribution where the Hall element is located. The Hall element converts the magnetic signal into an electrical signal and transmits it to the electronic control system. Most of the surrounding rock is very weak in magnetic properties, and the electrical signal is very small, so that the tungsten can be separated from the waste rock. The structure of the magnetic probe is shown in Figure 11.

The light detection system is mounted in a light box and consists of a light source, two light probes and a grey V-belt as a "background". The light detection system is shown in Figure 12. [next]
