MacGregor receives a series of Pusnes deck mechanical package orders
Recently, Cargotec's MacGregor announced that it has received orders for a range of Pusnes deck machinery packages from several shipowners. The Pusnes deck machinery will be equipped for different types of vessels built by Hyundai Heavy Industries and Chengdong Shipbuilding.
MacGregor Pusnes deck machinery has been identified as the following types of ships: 12 VLCCs; 4 Suez-type tankers; 5 LPG ships; 1 LEG ship; 2 75,000 DWT product tankers and 1 LNG/FSRU .
It is reported that MacGregor will be responsible for the design, contract management and provision of all key components for each deck machinery package. The planned delivery time for these deck machinery will begin in 2016 and will continue through 2017.
