Lianyungang Port Alumina and Bulk Fertilizer Specialized Berthing Terminal will be put into production
On January 21st, the Lianyungang Alumina and Bulk Fertilizer Specialized Berths at the Lianyungang Port of Jiangsu Province, which will be put into trial operation, ushered in the first batch of heavy-duty large-scale production equipment. Eight tower cranes with a capacity of 40 tons manufactured by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry Group arrived at the port and began installation.
The project of Jiangsu Province's key port construction project, Lianyungang Alumina and Bulk Fertilizer Specialized Berthing Terminal, has an annual handling capacity of 11 million tons. It has a specialized berth of 10,000 tons of alumina and a specialized berth of 100,000 tons of bulk fertilizer. As the main import port for alumina and bulk fertilizers in China's coastal areas, Lianyungang Port has always maintained the top spot in terms of alumina intake and unloading capacity, and the volume of bulk chemical fertilizers is also among the best.
