**MAIN FEATURES:**
The valve is operated by the movement of the disc parallel to the axis of the seat hole. It is designed for horizontal pipeline installation and primarily prevents backflow of the medium when the pump is shut down, maintaining the necessary water column during pumping.
**Design:**
Complies with design standards such as BS1868, ASME B16.34, and GB/T 12235. The compact and rational structure ensures reliable sealing and excellent performance. It features a lift piston-type disc, rapid closing action, and minimal impact during closure, reducing the risk of water hammer.

**Body and Bonnet Connection:**
For Class 150–Class 900 check valves, the body and bonnet are typically connected using studs and nuts. For Class 1500–Class 2500, a pressurized seal design is used.
**Body-to-Bonnet Joint:**
Stainless steel plus flexible graphite wound gasket is used for Class 150 and Class 300 check valves. For Class 600, the same gasket is used, with optional joint gaskets. Ring joint gaskets are used for Class 900, while pressurized seal design is applied for Class 1500–Class 2500.
**Seat:**
For carbon steel check valves, the seat is usually forged steel. The sealing surface is spray-welded with hard alloy as per customer specifications. Renewable threaded seats are used for NPS <10 valves, while welded-on seats can be optionally provided. For NPS >12 carbon steel gate valves, a welded-on seat is standard. For stainless steel check valves, an integral seat is typically used, or hard alloy is directly welded. Threaded or welded-on seats are also available upon request.
