**Main Features:**
This check valve is designed to open and close using a disc that moves parallel to the axis of the seat hole. It is suitable for installation on horizontal pipelines and is primarily used to prevent backflow of media when the pump is shut down, ensuring the water column remains intact during pumping operations.

**Body and Bonnet Connection:**
- For Class 150 to Class 900 check valves, the body and bonnet are typically connected with studs and nuts.

**Body-to-Bonnet Joint:**
- Stainless steel plus flexible graphite wound gasket is used for Class 150 and Class 300 check valves.
- For Class 600, stainless steel plus flexible graphite wound gasket is standard, with optional joint gaskets.
- Ring joint gasket is used for Class 900 check valves.
- Pressurized seal design is applied for Class 1500 to Class 2500 check valves.
**Seat:**
- Carbon steel check valves typically use forged steel seats, with hard alloy spray-welded on the sealing surface.
- Renewable threaded seats are used for NPS < 10, while welded seats are available upon request.
- For stainless steel check valves, integral seats are commonly used, or hard alloy can be directly welded.
- Threaded or welded seats are also optional for stainless steel check valves if requested by the customer.
