A visit to O’Hare Airport

This message is from Mike Lopina:

While I was at O’Hare (ORD) for the annual ARFF and Haz-Mat training, I had the chance to take some photos of the rigs in between exercises. 5-3-1 is equipped with a Zumro tent, HVAC gear for the Zumro, and some decontamination equipment, and it's stationed at ORD Rescue Station 1. 8-8-1A is currently based at the AMC building on the airport grounds. 6-5-7S (Spare), Engine 9, and the new 2-7-8 were at the training center for Zumro tent setup drills. 6-5-T is the training unit for the pit area and is a 1988 Oshkosh T-3000 crash truck. 2-9-8 serves as the training officer for ORD, and 2-9-12 is the coordinator for the live fire simulators. In addition, Lockport Rescue 6 was seen preparing to attack a fire in the Pit, while Orland Engine 8 (Reserve) was pumping handlines for the Pit and the Wheel/Brake/Interior simulator.
