The wood hammer mill is a high-efficiency crushing equipment designed to process various types of biomass waste, including wood chips, sawdust, straw, stalks, and more. It can also crush animal feed materials such as corn, weeds, soybeans, maize, and cereals. After processing, the material is reduced to fine powder with a particle size smaller than 2mm. This machine is widely used in animal feed factories, wood processing plants, and chemical industries.
A built-in screener is installed at the bottom of the wood chip crusher. The crushed powder exits through the screener holes. If the raw material has a moisture content below 20%, we typically install a 2-4mm screener to produce powder smaller than 4mm. For materials with high moisture content, we use larger screen holes (10-20mm) or even omit the screener entirely, ensuring optimal performance under different conditions.
Key components such as hammers and the screener are manufactured using our advanced CNC systems and undergo high-tech heat treatment. This ensures precision, durability, and superior quality compared to other suppliers. The wood hammer mill features two screeners on both sides of the crusher, allowing for a wide range of particle sizes and efficient production. Additionally, the machine is equipped with opening doors on both sides, making inspection and maintenance easier and more convenient.
The wood hammer mill can be connected to an air fan and cyclone system. For biomass materials, the crushed powder is collected in the cyclone and exits from the bottom. For fertilizers or animal feed, the powder is directly discharged from the crusher’s bottom. It can also be connected to a dust collector to ensure a clean working environment.
