   The screw air compressor is a volumetric gas compression machine that uses rotary motion for its working volume. The compression process depends on changes in volume, achieved by rotating a pair of intermeshing rotors within the casing.
The screw compressor consists of a pair of parallel, intermeshing negative and positive screws, which are the most widely used in rotary compressors..
2. Structural Characteristics of LGFD Series Rotary Screw Air Compressor
    The basic structure of the screw air compressor includes a pair of intermeshing spiral rotors arranged in parallel. Typically, the rotor with convex teeth is called the Yang rotor or the sun screw, while the one with concave teeth is referred to as the negative rotor or the negative screw. The Yang rotor is usually connected to the prime mover, and the last pair of bearings on the rotor rotated by the Yang rotor are axially positioned, bearing the axial force in the compressor. The cylindrical roller bearings at both ends of the rotor provide radial positioning and support the radial forces in the compressor. At both ends of the compressor body, holes of certain shapes and sizes are opened—one for suction and the other for exhaust.

SUCTION
   When the rotor rotates, the space of the tooth groove of the Yin and Yang rotor is largest when it reaches the intake end wall. At this time, the space of the rotor tooth groove is connected to the air inlet because the gas in the tooth groove has been completely discharged, and the groove is in a vacuum state. As it moves to the intake port, external gas is drawn into the groove of the Yin and Yang rotor. Once the gas fills the tooth grooves, the inlet end of the rotor moves away from the casing's air inlet, and the gas in the groove is sealed.
COMPRESS
   During the compression process, when the Yin and Yang rotor reaches the end of suction, the tooth tips of the Yin and Yang rotor close with the casing, preventing gas from escaping through the tooth groove. The meshing surface gradually moves toward the exhaust end, and the gap between the meshing surface and the exhaust port decreases, increasing the pressure of the gas in the groove.
DISCHARGE
   In the exhaust process, when the meshing end of the rotor moves to the exhaust port of the casing, compressed gas begins to be expelled until the meshing surface of the tooth tip and the tooth groove moves to the exhaust end. At this point, the space between the meshing surface of the Yin and Yang rotor and the exhaust port of the engine shell is zero, completing the exhaust process. At the same time, the length of the groove between the meshing surface of the rotor and the air inlet of the casing reaches its maximum, starting the intake process again.
