1. Brief Introduction of LGFD Series Rotary Screw Air Compressor
   The screw air compressor is a volumetric gas compression machine that operates through rotary motion. The compression process depends on changes in volume, achieved by rotating a pair of intermeshing rotors within the casing.
The screw compressor consists of a pair of parallel, intermeshing negative and positive screws, which are widely used in rotary compressors. The most common type is the twin-screw compressor.

2. Structural Characteristics of LGFD Series Rotary Screw Air Compressor
     
The basic structure of the screw air compressor includes a pair of intermeshing spiral rotors arranged in parallel. One rotor has convex teeth and is called the Yang rotor or sun screw, while the other has concave teeth and is known as the negative rotor or negative screw. The Yang rotor is connected to the power source, and the bearings at both ends of the rotor ensure axial positioning and handle the axial forces in the compressor. Cylindrical roller bearings at both ends of the rotor provide radial positioning and support the radial forces. At the ends of the compressor body, holes are opened for suction and exhaust.

SUCTION

      The working process of the screw air compressor involves the rotation of the rotors. When the rotors turn, the space between the tooth grooves of the Yin and Yang rotors is largest when they reach the intake port. At this point, the space connects with the air inlet, allowing external air to be drawn into the grooves. Once the grooves are filled, the intake port closes, sealing the air inside.

COMPRESS
      As the rotors continue to rotate, the gas trapped in the tooth grooves is compressed. The meshing surfaces gradually move towards the exhaust port, reducing the gap and increasing the pressure of the gas inside the grooves.

DISCHARGE
      When the meshing end of the rotors reaches the exhaust port, the compressed gas is expelled until the meshing surface moves to the exhaust end. At this point, the space between the meshing surface and the exhaust port is zero, completing the discharge process. Meanwhile, the length of the groove between the meshing surface and the air inlet reaches its maximum, initiating the next suction cycle.
